Felix Cole is an active producer and audio engineer.

Felix began his life in music with the violin and at five years old turned to the drums. He continued drumming through high school, taking lessons from well-known drummers in the Bay Area, supporting bands in music school and during multiple summers at Soundwall Music Camp at UC Santa Cruz. During this time he started his own band, 12 Stories, recording over 10 original songs, and launched a small project studio, 4th Ave recordings, which provided low cost recording for members of the Bay Area youths scene. In 2017 Felix left for the University of the Pacific to pursue Music industry Studies.

His experience got him started quickly with artistic projects and hands-on roles in the department’s programs. He served as V.P of A&R for the university’s label, Pac Ave Records, helping to produce singer, songwriter, violinist, and hip-hop artist Jelani Brown. In his junior year he recorded and produced artists Jelani (Higher Learning Vol. 1, Hey Hello), Issadora Ava (Can U Meet Me There), and Phoneboy (Acid Girl, 1987, Hey Kid). As the COVID pandemic set in, Felix stepped away from the program to focus exclusively on recording, producing, building his skills. In 2021 Felix enrolled in several programs and took courses in Mixing and Master, Sound Design, Logic Pro 201, and Music Business basic courses at the SF Garnish Music Production and DJ school, and took Pro Tools 101 at the Berklee College of Music Online. Felix relocated to Los Angeles from Berkeley in early 2022. He currently works at Pen Station Recording Studios in Santa Monica as he continues to build his network and work with independent artists.
